Juliet Handbag Pockets . . .

Here is what the Juliet pockets look like in the handbag (two of them, one on each side) . . .

 

you stitch the two rectangles with the fusible fleece in between following the directions, leaving one of the short edges 'raw'.  fold the bottom edge up to two inches from the raw edge and stitch down on both sides.  (the raw edge is at the bottom of the picture)

 Then you have a pocket like this.  The raw edge is behind my thumb so you can't really see it :(

Then you follow the directions after finishing the other pieces and sandwich the raw edge of the pocket between the band and the lining.  When you turn it right-side-out, you have the hanging pockets!
